    This lot consists of a
    1938 National Tuberculosis Association US Christmas Seals, Ten Dollar "Health Bond", featuring the Double-Barred Cross of Lorraine, with the monochromatic printed image of the 1938 stamp on the outside.
    They were sent out to donors folded in three like stock certificates.
    I confess that I am hopelessly in love with these, and how very clever their concept and design.  Ten bucks in 1936 is like 0 today, and that would have been a lot of money in the depression years...
    This stuff is just wonderfully interesting and hopefully will find a home in a specialized collection.
    Condition is lovely VG-EX due to having been folded when issued, but totally ex-nr-mint otherwise and great collectible fun.
