    Description

    This awesome antique celluloid wind up toy boat is big, slightly over 12" long and I believe it was made by the IRWIN Co. The boat is well formed with good detail and it has a wind up motor. You can see that the vessel is an old style twin-cabin cruiser and it has a steering wheel and a clear plastic canopy. There is a dent in the keel and the rudder blade is broken off but aside from this the boat is in good original condition and it still displays nicely. The motor wound up ok but I couldn't get it to run so now it is wound up and stuck. Maybe someone who knows what they are doing can get it to go. Ca. 1940s. Rare celluloid toy boat!
