  • Condition: Very Good Condition. The frame has rare scratches and minor dings. Please see photos. The back of the frame has the embroidery fabric exposed and some has loosened. The portion within the frame has not moved and remains stretched. I have not attempted to repair as the buyer may want to reframe the picture. The stitching is very good.

    Description

    This is a handmade crewel embroidery framed picture.
    The picture depicts a grandma handing her boy and girl grandchildren cookies from her cookie jar with a pet watching.  The saying is "Some grandmas ride in limousines, wear fine clothes and pretty rings.  But my grandma's best by far because she has a cookie jar!!!"
    The embroidery is from  a Sunset Stitchery Designs Kit # 2649 from 1978.
    The frame has a hanging bracket.  There is glass covering the embroidery.
    The outer dimensions are 14 by 10 1/2 inches.
