    Description

    Bank Note Engravers Guild, affiliate of the Plate Printers Union (IPPDS&EU) Souvenir Card F1986A, issued to honor BEP letter engraver Kenneth C. Wiram on the 50th Anniversary of his Federal employment.
    The card features an engraving of Wiram at work, created by BEP engraver Thomas A. Hipschen.
    The dimensions of this card are 9" x 7" (width x height).
    The card was released on the day of a banquet honoring Wiram, April 25, 1986.  It has been cancelled on its day of issue with a postmark from Washington, DC, the location of Mr. Wiram's duty station.
    The item is in excellent condition.
    The "urbanspaceman" watermark is on the image only and does not appear on the card itself.
