    Around 1892, as San Francisco's City’s streets were being gridded, Historians suspect that this Historic Landmark was originally built during the Gold Rush
    .
    Nicknamed “Blackstone House” for its location and not for the original owners, the house
    was purchased by Cherubino and Letizia Favilla in 1897. The Favillas added a new ground floor in 1899 and stables in 1906.  Favilla and Bricca operated the prosperous store called Favilla-Bricca Furniture Store in this now Landmarked District.

    Plate is cream color china with gold rim and gold lettering.  Measures in inches 9.25" diameter.  Very good condition. Crazing in glaze due to age.  Hallmarked on back "Cook Pottery Co."  No chips,
    cracks or repairs.
