    Description

    Souvenir card issued by the Souvenir Card Collectors Society (SCCS) for the organization's 1994 annual meeting, held that year at the American Numismatic Association convention in Pittsburgh.  This item is recognized as card N-6 in the SCCS numbering system.
    The card features an intaglio vignette of a stag in a wilderness setting.  The animal's image is modeled after stag depicted in the painting
    Monarch of the Glen
    by Landseer.  The card was produced for the SCCS by then-active BEP plate printer Mike Bean.  This card also includes the logo or 'bug' of Local 2 of the International Union of Plate Printers, Die Stampers and Engravers, representing printers at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing.
