    Description

    Primitive "Fall" punch needle
    This punch features a sheep in a pumpkin patch with sunflowers.  I used 3 strands of various threads punched on cotton.
    It is adhered to a handmade hornbook (thank you, sweetie).
    The hornbook has been painted a dull taupe and lightly sanded.  I added a light walnut stain.   the handle features homespun tie,   rusty bells, a grunged  Fall tag and wire tendrils.
    There is a 1 in needle felted sunflower and leaves.
    The piece measures 5 in tall x 6 in wide
    The hornbook is 8 long and 6 inches wide.
    The handle has a 3/4 inch hole for hanging
    Great for farmhouse gathering or as a cupboard tuck.
