Retro Football Player stuffed Doll plastic head Vintage Japan 11 inch Vibrant

The retro football player is from my youth. Oddly, I remember it being attached to a bamboo like cane. A football player walking stick, in a sense. I remember my mother getting it for me in downtown Scranton, Pa. This would have been the late 1960's to the early 1970's. Over the years, I displayed it without the cane, which is now nowhere to be found. The retro football player was recently removed from a very long storage and survived quite nicely. It remains in excellent condition. Vibrant colors. The head is a light plastic. I am not sure if it is celluloid. The face is super clean with no paint loss and a nice gloss. The helmet, plastic shoes, hands and football are in superb condition. The vintage football was made in Japan. It is 11 inches in height.
