    Description

This rarely-offered Discovery Channel 1999 documentary on train wrecks was released on VHS tape by Unapix Home Entertainment in 2000.   This is the second program under this name entitled Runaway Trains
    2
    .
It uses eyewitness interviews, actual news footage and animated graphics to examine the tragic results when trains derail and/or collide.
This rare program is apparently sometimes confused, especially in online marketplaces, with the Learning Channel's 1997 "Velocity" video and, of all things, an early Jack Nicholson film called "The Wild Ride."
52 minutes.  All color with Hi-Fi sound VHS tape.  NOT a DVD.
Excellent condition, tape played perfectly all the way through the day of this listing.  Light shelf wear and some no-show front scratches on the cardboard sleeve.
Not a library, thrift store, Asian or bootleg copy.
    NTSC video.
