Vintage Celluloid Whistle
Nice little old whistle completely made of celluloid.  The bird is fragile in nature but has survived the generations beautifully.  The stem looks like carved bone, but that is celluloid, also. Nice light, albeit pretty piercing, whistle.  About 3" wide; stands about 1 3/4" tall; about 1" broad. Impressively detailed for such a little fellow. He's standing in tall grasses and ferns, and his feathers are also detailed.
